Fashion - Fraction - Feeling

The exhibition by Michal Pěchouček and Rudi Koval, who since 2019 have been exhibiting under the joint label (a "compressed manifesto" of collaborative and experimental work) unconductive trash, thematises various aspects of human unfreedom while revealing the absurdity of a world ruled by the tyranny of capital, which leads to overproduction and obsessive consumption and can commodify anything, including the void. Two new cycles of paintings (Fashion; Shadows, 2025) mix irony with existential anxiety over an increasingly simulated reality, and in a distinctive way combine conceptual approaches based on seriality, multiplication and language games with seemingly routine, but in fact joyful, unpredictable and minuscule handiwork.
